I felt some staff unkindly at particular scene, but suppose they generally did it well. Due to the location of hotel, it was convenient to access downtown and railway/subway, but noisy until midnight.

The hotel offered a great Japanese breakfast and the location was perfect for accessing the main attractions. there were many shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find something to eat. We also appreciated the friendly staff who made us feel welcome.
The room and bathroom were old and in need of updating. We also found the price to be too high for the quality of the room.

The traditional Japanese experience of staying in a ryokan was enjoyable. The tatami rooms were great and the staff was wonderful. The location was excellent, being close to the main shopping streets and the train station. The Japanese breakfast spread was delicious and it was unique to have tea served in our room.
The facilities were dated and some aspects of the room were uncomfortable. The futon beds could have been better, and the wooden structure of the building made it very noisy.

We loved the location of this hotel, it was very convenient being close to a busy area with lots of shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the river. the staff was friendly and attentive, always offering us tea and checking if we needed anything. the breakfast was delicious with a mix of Japanese and western options.
The outdated facilities in the bathroom. the shower wasn't working properly and the bathtub was old and dirty.
